Started Bleeding 10 Years After Menopause

Dark Powers, Volume 1: The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong

4th cover:

If Chloe was in a movie person would doubt her when she admits seeing ghosts. In real life, her father and her aunt sent to Lyle House, a psychiatric specialist for teens. Doctors there say she suffers from schizophrenia ...
But residents seem to hide a few secrets too ... It is surely no coincidence. So when one of his comrades told him that she is perhaps necromancer, she decides to discover the truth about power and about the strange place where she is confined.

Firstly thank you to Livraddict and editions Castelmore for this partnership.

I had never read Kelly Armstrong but had heard much of his saga Women's Otherland. The output of the series for young adults an opportunity to discover this author. In addition, coverage is great and makes me want to dive into history.

Chloe has lived a pretty normal life until a ghost continue in the corridors of his school. That's when overnight she found herself in a home for adolescents suffering from psychological problems. But his roommates also seem to have peculiarities.

The beginning is captivating. We discover Chloe when she was only three years and she was frightened by darkness populated by ghosts ... But twelve years after the nightmarish visions reappear and Chloe is gradually becoming aware of its powers or feel like his family and doctors of his psychological problems.

Chloe is a teenager like everyone else, not very resourceful and rather naive.
The other characters are also rather simple without special features, but they will gradually take the size and assertiveness.
Lizz is rather talkative and bubbly. This is the first meeting of residents that Chloe but she will not stay long the institute.
Rae quickly becomes a friend for Chloe, she can confide in her and then finds some comfort in Lyle House.
Derek is rather mysterious. He is very tall and speaks little square that is uncomfortable his roommates. He is always with his adopted brother Simon who is much friendlier than he. We discover the institute
Lyle House at the same time as heroin and it is a bit lost in meeting all these characters at once.

The story is not very original, teenagers who get together and discover they have supernatural powers is common seen and reviewed. That's why I'm a little bored. The daily life of residents in Lyle House is repetitive and there is some length in the narrative.
The characters are stereotyped and surprises are few.

However my interest in the novel has increased at the end of the story. The suspense is to go and finally we have made startling revelations. The twists keep coming and the novel ends on a cliffhanger that makes you want to read more.

The author's style is simple and enjoyable. The chapters are very short and many dialogues which the narrative pace. I read very quickly especially at the end when the story becomes more interesting.

Despite a dip is a promising first volume when closed makes me want to dive into the second volume. Again thank you to

Deniesmilani Without Clothes

Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier

4th cover:
the early hours at Manderley, the sumptuous home of West of England, the memory of those that it replaced it is necessary to the young woman just married Maxim De Winter.
Rebecca, drowned, continues to exert an influence on everyone on the edge of morbid. The new Mrs. De Winter, shy, retiring, inexperienced struggles of his best against the anxiety that came over, but the fight against the ghost of Rebecca is too uneven.
Daphne Du Maurier in Rebecca, who is perhaps the most novel feature of his talent, fascinates the reader and leads to the discovery of disturbing realities without leaving the familiar area of everyday life.
There was always afraid to start a classic thinking it is boring but some are real treasures. This is the case of Rebecca who waited patiently for a while in my PAL.

The narrator, a young lady's companion met Mr. de Winter during a trip to Monte Carlo. Soon They become good friends and heroine accepts the marriage proposal of Maximilian de Winter. Arrival at Manderley, she realizes that this is not exactly what she was dreaming ...

I saw at the end of the book that we do not know the name of the narrator. It is a simple girl, very shy, awkward and inexperienced. We identify it very easily. It is very endearing if somewhat annoying at times so it is naive. At the same time as we discover Manderley and the shadow of the former Mrs. de Winter is still hanging on. It was an elegant woman, who intelligently all succeeded. The new Mrs. de Winter realizes very quickly that she can never compete with it. Maxim
seems cold and distant to his wife. His past haunts him, he can not forget Rebecca.
The secondary characters are also very interesting. Franck is endearing rather frightening Mrs. Danvers see tyrannical.

Some passages describing daily life at Manderley can be a bit boring but they are involved in the strange atmosphere of the novel. Indeed, the narrator realizes that since the death of the former hostess nothing has changed in the little routine of the household. Some events are
predictable as the history of costume for the ball. But the truth about Rebecca is amazing, I was not expecting it at all until the last line the author surprises us.

His style is very pleasant at all rather simple even pompous. The descriptions are poetic, but succinct. I read very quickly, I look forward to the end of the story.
Do not be afraid to read Rebecca, a classic it is very easy to read. The story is captivating and the characters very likeable.

Weakest Interactions (co2, No2, So2, H2s)

Vampire Academy, Book 3: Shadow Kiss by Richelle Mead

4th cover:
For Rose, the moment of truth approaches.
The training is becoming more difficult, and lack of concentration, nightmares prevent him from sleeping. And she sees the ghosts ...
A new side effect of the bond she shares with her friend Lissa or is she going mad?
This is not the academy that Rose will find rest. The Strigoi choose this moment to attack and Dimitri is taken hostage. Rose will face the most terrible of dilemmas. It must protect at all costs Lissa but does that mean he necessarily lost forever the man she loves?

/ "\\ Risk of spoilers /" \\

In this volume, the novices are doing a field exercise: they must monitor twenty-four hours in twenty-four, six days a week and they Moroi their assigned . Rose is troubled by ghostly visions that prevents it from doing its job properly while his future is at stake

First I want to say Wahouuuuuu! It's been quite a novel kept me spellbound from beginning to end. I read it in two days and I had to read until two o'clock in the morning to finish it!

I'm happy not to have read the summary before you finish the book because it contains spoilers of the outcome! And this would be a shame given the volume that we concocted breathtaking Richelle Mead.

There are more mature than Rose in the previous volume, the events that claimed the life of one of his friends were much affected. Always so impulsive, she gets angry very easily and creates fear among some of his comrades. Lissa
about it starts to practice magic and explores his gift with Adrian who is always irritating and irresistible. This relationship between the two makes Moroi Christian jealous. It becomes more friendly with Rose, they have indeed shared memories of the terrible events of Spokane. Dimitri had trouble hiding the feelings and concern he feels for Rose ...

Richelle Mead's style is always so exciting, we really feel the emotions of Rose goes from euphoria to suffering. We identify it very easily. It would be a guardian, protecting our loved ones and knock some Strigoi to proudly display his molnija .

lot of suspense and surprises in this volume. Rose begins to see ghosts and consider all possible explanations this, whether madness or the gift. Some events are predictable but others are opposites really amazing. Indeed, the book ends with a cliffhanger unbearable. Richelle Mead if you go through this: I hate you! How can I finish a book that way!
action is omnipresent until the last line. Besides, what last line! I think it ends this volume in spite of her beauty makes us want to throw us out after that unfortunately in the month of May. That's where we would be bilingual in order to read in Vo ...

So you'll understand this third volume is a stroke of heart! Many emotions of suspense and surprises keep us in suspense from beginning to end.

Wella Kolest Hair Color Chart

Crimes in clear Moon presented by Charlaine Harris

4th cover:
mass disappearances, disturbing visions, terrorist attacks antivampires, e-mails from the Beyond, unexpected metamorphoses ... Who has never wished to have a ghost guardian angel to watch over him, or a grandmother who receive psychic dead on his doorstep? The heroes of the new crossing the border into the strange world ... and live stories to chill your blood.
To commit the perfect crime moonlight is the best accessory.

In this anthology directed by Charlaine Harris, some authors from Mystery Writers of America, used to write novels, the challenge of writing a new fantasy.

First let me say that the book is a beautiful object. Coverage and the same slice are beautiful. The book is soft to the touch and the presentation is very neat. Only thing I missed: a summary to see at a glance the present authors and titles of the news. Especially when at the end of the book a little biography of each is given, it would be easy to find what news they have written.

Apart Charlaine Harris, I do not know any of the authors of the book is also the news that interested me most. I was eager to read it but it disappointed me ... It is a sort of spin-off of Volume 7 of the community in the south. If you have not read this saga which do not come to this book, I think it will be harder to understand history. I found this new interest-free and Charlaine had not given much trouble to write.

Nevertheless I had a great time with this book. Some other strange news is exciting and other even frightening. Most authors combine the fantasy and detective genres. So we are seeing mysterious disappearances, ghostly apparitions, we encounter werewolves and vampires who are leading the investigation ...
For some authors, too faithful to the detective genre, fantasy is just a pretext to start a story, but others have really played the game and we have laid very original stories. Each new

reads quickly, they average about thirty pages. The authors' style is fluid and captivating. With this book I discovered many authors and I hope to read through new their novels. My new favorite
are those of William Kent Krueger, Jeff Somers, Elaine Viets, Jack Fredrickson, Carolyn Hart ...

In conclusion, it was an entertaining read. Fantasy and police are involved with flying colors. Most new I liked even though I was a little disappointed some. This book also helped me to discover new authors.

Jibjab Or Something Similar

Vampire Academy, Book 2: Cold Snap by Richelle Mead

4th cover:
When the enemy is at your door, turn deadly Christmas ...
The New Year holiday began at St. Vladimir but Rose did not mind fun. Strigoi attack has put the school on high alert and reinforce the security guards. Students are sent to a cabin in the mountains to keep them away from danger.
Gold gets closer ... and Rose must demonstrate, once again, an uncommon courage. But heroism has a price!
I told you, I don 't have survived long before buying the second volume and as the first I've eaten!

Rose is about to pass her qualification but macabre events disturb everyday life. Moroi are the target of a formidable group strigoi They seem to act as a group and get help from humans ....

I said to the first volume but I repeat: I do not like the coverage. This is worse than the last, it looks like a Harlequin. But do not judge a book by its cover ...

With the prologue, the previous volume is short and history is presented in memory. Even if I read Sisters of blood there is little time, this prologue I was not bored.
We go very fast in the heart of the matter: strigoi attack. Rose has witnessed the consequences of the carnage that will implicate him in the aftermath.

In this Volume It is much more mature. She realizes that she must not take its role as guardian of the light, she thinks before acting and tries to control his impulses.
This proves rather difficult between her feelings for Dimitri, his resentment toward his mother and his meeting with Adrian, a very charismatic Moroi ...

Despite some short lengths, the action is particularly pervasive in the end. Can not stop reading before finishing the tome!
Richelle Mead's style is truly captivating, the story reads so easily that we do not realize the speed at which you turn pages.

The end is very moving, I confess I shed my little tear ... and the last chapter makes me want to throw on the following: I thought so I had to buy Volumes 2 and 3 at the same time!
The problem is that not until May 4 to read ....

Ovulation Calculator March Of Dimes

Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman by Haruki Murakami

4th cover:
storyteller, Haruki Murakami explores these twenty-three new delicately chiseled, a multitude of worlds oscillating perpetually between the real and the dream. Among those suspended lives, troubling portrait of : A businessman haunted by his first love, an adulterous couple refuge on a Greek island, a man obsessed with spaghetti, or a night watchman pursued by his reflection ... They watch for an omen or a mirror, death or a kangaroo, all are imbued with a poetic melancholy that fascinates and resonates in all of us.
It was a moment that I read Murakami. After reading Kafka on the shore, he became one of my favorite authors.

I read two novels of this writer and this book it is a collection of short stories.
We find the particular style of Murakami, but in a new effect is quite different.
In these novels, we have a main plot and revolve around some absurd stories, reflections of the author ...

A new offering a limited number of pages, we find here stories without beginning or end, passages of life of the author ...
There is no plot on which we can cling so some news left me puzzled.

Once the new ends, it is not clear where the author wanted to take us, what he meant, one wonders if there is a hidden meaning behind the story. Probably Murakami likes to think his readers. And it is true that some news made me think. These books are still very significant. Even if you do not understand the story, Murakami resonates something within us.

Especially the strangeness of these new strikes us. Besides the book cover itself is rather unusual. Mingles dream and reality so well that no one knows more distinguished. Murakami created in the reader a sense of unease. Thus we feel closer to characters who have seen their lives disrupted. Some new

rather annoyed me but maybe they like to other players and they resonate in them. One of the new "The Firefly" is a passage from "The Ballad of the impossible" that I had already read, I still reread with pleasure.

I confess to being a little disappointed by this book, I much prefer these novels. Kafka on the Shore is a fact one of my favorite books and one of the few that I read.
I'm used to the style of Murakami. It makes us think without giving answers to our questions, however, in certain of this work can be perceived not even address the issues he wants (or maybe there is nothing metaphysical in them) .
I will continue to read this author but I choose rather a novel next time:)

Bible Quotes On House Warming

[Playing VO] Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by JK Rowling

4ème de couverture:
When a letter arrives for unhappy but ordinary Harry Potter, a decade-old secret is revealed to him that apparently he’s the last to know. His parents were wizards, killed by a Dark Lord’s curse when Harry was just a baby, and which he somehow survived. Escaping his hideous Muggle guardians for Hogwarts, a wizarding school brimming with ghosts and enchantments, Harry stumbles upon a sinister adventure when he finds a three-headed dog guarding a room on the third floor. Then he hears of a missing stone with astonishing powers which could be valuable, dangerous, or both.

Oui je sais , j'ai déjà chronicled this book in French HERE but after hesitating a moment I thought I share my impressions could encourage other readers to read in VO.

For some time I want to read in English to improve my level. I started with "The Tales of Beedle the Bard " and it is natural that I continue with the first volume of the adventures of the most famous wizard. I also admit having a crush on the beautiful cover of the edition for adult Bloomsbury.

The beginning was a bit difficult for me, I'm not used to read in both English and some vocabulary words bothered me. In addition, we must admit that the passage in which Harry is unaware that he is a wizard is the most boring of the saga.
I also had difficulty in understanding Hagrid, has a rather special way of speaking, which, however, is not transcribed in French.

I started to get into the story and have fun when Harry meets the Weasleys and more specifically the twins: D With others, they are some of my favorite characters, each of their appearance makes me die laughing. English and more!

After Harry returned to Hogwarts, my reading rate has accelerated . I only read maybe not Shakespeare's language as fast as that of Molière, but I devoured the rest of the book. Obviously I did not understand all the vocabulary words but I know the story by heart, it does me not much bothered.

This first volume is less but I like reading it in VO I much appreciated. Read it in English it's magic! Just closed, I wanted to read Volume 2 yet and I already know the whole story! This book really made me want to read in English and I recommend it to all those like me who want to get started and improve their level!
I confess to being proud of myself have managed to read a whole novel in English and I will no longer hesitate to buy books because VO plus they are cheaper!

What Is The Diference Between King And Superking

Vampire Academy Volume 1: Blood Sisters by Richelle Mead

4th cover:

Only your best friend can protect you from your enemies ...

St. Vladimir is a private school out of the ordinary: the prying eyes of young vampires are learning magic.
Rose Hathaway is a Dhampir and must protect her best friend Lissa, Moroi princess. Threatened
within the Academy, Lissa and Rose run away together, but were reduced force behind the high gates of St. Vladimir. Between Machiavellian intrigues, and unspeakable nighttime rituals forbidden love, they must be on guard: the strigoi, vampires and immortal enemies of Moroi, Lissa could well make one of them for eternity.

This book is in my PAL a few months but I do not attempt more than that ... I do not like the coverage and I'm a bit tired of vampire stories. However I was pleasantly surprised!

Rose and Lissa seem to be two teenage girls as others but we must not trust appearances ... Pink is the guardian of Lissa is a Moroi royal blood. They have both escaped from their school but everywhere they go they are pursued by the guards of the school or by beings far more frightening ...

Another vampire story but very different from what I read. The Morois feed on human blood by volunteers but this does not kill their enemies instead of the Strigoïs. When the Dhampir, they protect the Moroi.
As and when the plot, we learn the history of vampires their relationship, their lives ...

The story takes place in a school, I admit that at first it was a bit put off because many fantasy books have this place as a backdrop, I think in particular of a certain boy wizard.
Yet you never get bored at all, only a few passages occurs during class.

The characters are very endearing. Rose is a headstrong and determined, contrary to Lissa is more fragile but it is better to be wary of it because it can be more aggressive. Dimitri is the beautiful dark brown in history. It is mysterious, protective and attractive. The secondary characters are also interesting and may play a role in history. We learn as and when the past of the characters and especially the reason for the flight of two friends. They are inseparable and always care about one another to such an extent that at times is Lissa who becomes the guardian angel of Rose ...
Those who love love stories will be in their account. Personally I'm curious as to how the relationship will evolve Dimitri Rosa.

There are many twists, making it difficult to release the book. The author's style is very nice. Her writing is captivating. Mythology she created around the vampire is very original. I really devoured this book. Despite my apprehension, I am surprised that this book is so good, it's a stroke of good heart and I want to rush to buy more ...
